The hotel
is renowned for its excellent home cooking, which can be enjoyed
by hotel guests, tourists and locals alike.
Its culinary
specialities range from potatoes with cottage cheese, locally-produced
Tolmin cheese and stuffed pig's stomach, to various dishes
based around the famous marble trout from the River Soča.
The restaurant's
three dining rooms can seat a total of 160 diners, while a
pleasant change is offered by the 17th-century Castle Cellar,
where guests can indulge themselves in the noble atmosphere
of a bygone age.
In the
summer months the 60-seat terrace is a pleasant place to enjoy
refreshments and ice cream.
